A Colonoscopy is a procedure that uses a lighted flexible endoscope to examine the large intestine.
The Colonoscope is used to help determine the cause of :
- Abdominal pain
- Blood in the stool
- Changes in bowel habits
- Mucous in the stool
- Screening and surveillance for colorectal cancer
